Dr. Lewis Friedlander earned his M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia in 1982. His residency training spans Yale, Jackson Memorial's Ryder Trauma Center, Shands Jacksonville, and Bridgeport Hospital — with subsequent fellowship work in breast surgery and orbital oculo-plastic surgery.
He is board-certified in Plastic Surgery, Emergency Medicine, and Surgery, holds faculty affiliation at Emory University School of Medicine, and was named 2012 ABPS Physician of the Year.
Today he practices across two engagements in metro Atlanta — performing cosmetic and reconstructive surgery at Image Cosmetic Surgery Center, and providing same-day surgical and urgent care at Medico Urgent Care in Chamblee.
